On the 6th: Hello, Being Back, and Moving Forward

Wow. Can I just say how much it feels good to have my fingers on the keyboard again– not to work on papers, not to do assignments, but to actually blog. After 3 years of hiatus, I am finally back… back to blogging on the same month as I first launched this blog 6 years ago, April 2014.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen it but there had been sporadic attempts to get back. It was not easy. At first, I thought I was just uninspired, lost, or going through a phase they call “writer’s block.” Consulted different blog coaches, approached blogger friends, but no amount of coaching or blog strategy nor blog design was able to do the fix.

I know I have a lot of great things and ideas to share (and I really want to) but I just couldn’t get myself to do it. ‘Til I realized that those big, overwhelming issues and fears of brokenness and judgment hindered me from creating content in the past 3 years.

But my love of creating, writing, sharing and you are what kept me coming back. A couple of days ago, as I was working on my blog focus I thought to myself, “are there still people out there reading blogs?” Most of my blogger friends have switched from having a blog to vlog. I wonder if there are still people reading. I was asking myself if it is still worth blogging. I’m not sure. But to you who have stayed and patiently waited, I know that it is still worth writing and sharing it through my blog. And I wanted to say thank you for sticking by despite my delinquency. And to you who just stumbled upon my blog for the first time, hello and welcome! I hope to get to know you, too.☺️

I have not written and shared a lot on this blog since I launched it in 2014 but I’m looking forward to great things ahead to share with you guys.

To start off, I’m typing all the way from Los Angeles, California. I might have to stay here for a few more years until I graduate so you can expect me to share with you stories about mommyhood or parenting a 6-year old and pre-teen from afar. Stories about my experiences on great places to go to, good and affordable restaurants to dine in, food recipes, DIYs for all you creatives thriving to bring beauty out of the mundane, my faithwalk journey and God’s faithfulness, plus some here-and-there adventures of my stay here in LA, which I hope will add value to your life.

It’s not easy to be far from family, most especially for a mom to be away from her children. But I do believe in God’s sovereignty– that He allows things to happen for a reason and that I am here for a purpose, and that’s something I will have to wait for God to unfold.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

As for the time being, let’s journey together in between finding inspiration in the mundane and giving back glory to God who deserves everything. I hope you find your dose of inspiration as you embark on your journey with me in between living, loving and creating

Once again, welcome to PEACHY IN BETWEEN where the heart, hands, mind, and soul collide! ☺️
